Fivos Theodosakis (*1989 in Crete, Greece) lives in Düsseldorf. He studied stage design at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf in the class of Lena Newton and Johannes Schütz. During his studies he worked for two years as an assistant at the Düsseldorf theater. Since graduating in 2019, he has been working as a freelance stage designer with opera and drama directors and choreographers, both at the municipal theater and in the independent scene.
In 2020, 21 and 22 stage sets and installations were created for the Brandenburg Theater (fairy tale opera “Hänsel und Gretel”, D: Frank Martin Widmaier, Staatstheater Mainz and the Asphalt Festival (“kaleiDANCEscope”, collective should-I-know), Folkwang University (“Der Totentanz by August Strindberg", dir: Damira Schumacher), the exhibition and performance space "Moltkerei Werkstatt" in Cologne with his own work "but everything remained unchanged" and the Prince Regent Theater Bochum ("Reigen" by Arthur Schnitzler, dir: Constanze Hörlin).
